We bought that 37 pounder in the last two photos from the Farmer’s Market, after seeing it two weeks in a row; I loved the massive stem and its overall stalwart attitude, so it now graces our front step to cheer us on our way.

I really enjoyed this book and give it a provisional five stars. It is well written and engaging, about a famous author finally telling “the truth” about her origins to a biographer, who is the main character.
Our Fabulous Church Flowers Today
My husband cut down our purple asters and brought them in to avoid being frozen, and we took them to church today.
