This is a good novel about mistakes and forgiveness.

This is an atmospheric, engrossing, immersive read set in Mississippi during the depression.

It is sheer fun to to read on the one level, and meaningful backstory on the suffragist movement on the other.

This is a story about two lonely people, an elderly widower and a seventeen year old girl, who both read the same reading list, and how it changes their lives. Mental health issues play a role, as well as grief. I found the elderly gentlemen particularly endearing.

You too might enjoy this clean clash of wits, which results in a fun read, as well as a relationship of believable substance. This book strikes that rare balance of being light without being vapid.

This is a good, light beach read, that felt like a vacation.

Yesteryear packs a punch and is different than anything you’ve ever read. It merges many different themes – Christian evangelism, politics, feminism, online influencers, exposure of children on the internet, delusion, and idealism of the traditionalism of the past– in a compulsively readable story, that left me sad in end.
