The idea for this painting germinated from the intro to a favorite show All Creatures Great and Small, which traverses winding, hilly roads toward town and home. Here too in Connecticut roads are undulating and indirect, surrounded too by foliage and fields
Everyone enjoyed being together so much that we sat at that brunch table for five hours, but it felt like only two. So grateful.
