Fostering a new renaissance through creativity, authenticity, spirituality, and art
I read recently something written by Edward A. Kimball in 1909 originally published in the Bloomington Illinois Daily Bulletin newspaper titled “Answers to Questions Concerning Christian Science.” One of the major questions he answers is: What are the fundamental points of difference between Christian Scientists and other Christians? Here is the first part of his answer:
I had a great time today plein air painting with our youngest daughter. We picked the most gorgeous day of the week to go, and I let my daughter pick the spot. She chose this waterfall in Redding, CT, which we hadn’t been to for a while and are fond of.
I highly recommend this family run Italian restaurant; there is a reason they are still around after six decades! This was a perfect end to a wonderful day.

Tonight we ate my husband’s first homegrown cabbage. It was delicious braised in organic cream.

I learned the name of another new tree: the bottle brush bush. It is out our daughter’s new dining room window in Sacramento, and it is strikingly lovely.
I’ve had the above book Outlander on my shelf for years. I bought it with a Border’s gift card at the store’s closing at the urging of friends that loved it.
I absolutely loved this movie and give it an enthusiastic 5 stars.
Flying home after working hard on our daughter’s new apartment on the other side of the country, I took these photos during a bumpy landing in Chicago…
After an intense several days our daughter’s apartment is starting to come together nicely.
