The UBox that we unloaded last Friday did not fit everything, so our daughter was faced with the dilemma of how to get her other things to Sacramento. On the internet she discovered Pac Mail and it was her solution. We were all very impressed with them and would recommend their services if you have bulky freight you need delivered somewhere.
Above you can see our daughter with one of the two large boxes that were delivered today. They held four dining room chairs, her bike, her sewing machine, and her grandfather’s cedar chest. The way they built her custom packaging was ingenious and it is very clear they have a lot of experience doing this.
Since we’ve been earnestly unpacking boxes, we have created large heaps of cardboard, packing material, and styrofoam. When discussing the logistics of getting it recycled, I suggested that our daughter list it all as available on Craig’s list, which she did from her phone. Within three hours, the entire pile had been removed by grateful folks who were moving to Spokane, with many other people having called about it as well. It was amazing to see such an example of the power of the internet. This problem was so quickly solved to the benefit of all!
