Jesus says the only people who can recognize and be ready for what he’s talking about are the ones who come with the mind and heart of a child.
I can’t say enough good things about this crowd-funded video series of Jesus’ life.
The point here is that getting away from the child image, where disobedience, personal sense, or bad behavior is strong a possibility, try to stay with what is going on spiritually –that only what is Godlike is actually present or has power– since God (good) is ALL, and we, you, they, all of us, are always at one with that, inseparable forever from that. What a relief!
We can do what Jesus requires of us by degrees, with loads of ongoing divine help.
I don’t agree with everything in this book, but it has a more enlightened view of God than many you could read.
There is an important and necessary way to love yourself, as well as an approach to be avoided.
