Andy (the writer played by the likable Anne Hathaway), who at the end of the first movie left the fashion magazine to write real news, returns to the magazine, this time to write features. She and Miranda Priestly (played by the incomparable Meryl Streep) face down several crises together.
I always appreciate a female character owning her own intrinsic worth, and forging ahead regardless of impediments society (or life) puts in her way.
If you are looking for a feel-good comedy, you might enjoy watching this too.
I can’t say enough good things about this crowd-funded video series of Jesus’ life.
Other reviewers have ranked it poorly, saying it lagged or was tepid; I did not find it so. I give this movie 5 stars.
I heartily recommend this adaptation, and give it five stars. If you are like me and somehow missed this stellar two part series that is a vast improvement on previous versions, you’ll be glad to see it.
How does one live out from one’s ideals in a world that is incongruous with them?
It is so good to spend some time in simpler, rural days, helping animals to thrive, when morals are clear, where the natural environment is breathtaking, and communities are strong.
If you haven’t yet seen this wonderful Christmas movie, now is a good time!
When you want something endearing, undemanding, warm, quirky, and charming, I recommend this film.
This new Netflix documentary is beautiful, educational, heart-warming, and awe-inspiring. The photography is amazing too!
I give it 5 stars, but maybe I was just overdue for a good mystery. You too might enjoy this one as a welcome, but unimportant diversion.
