Artwork of My Mother’s that My Sisters Have
This summer, I have visited both of my sisters in their homes: Ohio and North Carolina, respectively. It was lovely to see my mom’s artwork gracing their walls.
A Rarity: Our Children All Together
We haven’t been all together since Christmas, but as the four of us (my husband, two daughters and I) drove to and from North Carolina we stopped by to see our son. This evening on our way home we had a great time celebrating his birthday with a nice dinner.

Delighted to Meet Our First Grand Nephew
We were delighted to finally get to meet our first great nephew– my oldest sister’s first grandchild– who was born last January. He’s a wonderful fellow, and we enjoyed snuggling him, listening to him chatter away and grin, and were there for his first word: Dada.

Our Daughter Finds an Apartment
We knew this was the place the minute we walked in. We had seen some awful apartments, many good ones, and this one great one. I thank God that it has worked out for her.
Rose-Hulman’s Operation Catapult Engineering Camp
Today I picked our younger daughter up at Rose-Hulman’s Operation Catapult Engineering Camp, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. Rose-Hulman is a strong undergraduate engineering program that is routinely ranked #1 among engineering schools that do not have PhD programs.

Our Son Surprises His Sister
Our son surprised his sister by coming unexpectedly to her graduation. We were in on this surprise and helped facilitate it, but it was priceless to see his sister’s delight on his arrival.
Our Daughter Graduates with Her Master’s
Today our daughter graduated from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University with her Master’s in Public Administration. We are so proud of her diligence, excellence, values, and accomplishments. She truly glorifies God!
Proud of My Sister
I am very proud to report that my oldest sister has been named the Outstanding Biology Teacher of the Year for the whole state of North Carolina.
Lovely Day with the Father of My Children
All three of our children were far flung in three different states today, but my husband and I had a nice day celebrating Father’s Day together.
