Family Visit to North Carolina Art Museum

visit North Carolina Museum of art

We had a wonderful family afternoon at the North Carolina Museum of Art, that started with a delicious lunch at their restaurant (called Iris). After lunch I enjoyed both the artwork and taking portraits of family members in front of artwork. Later in the afternoon, we hiked to a hobbit house in the woods that has a camera obscura in the roof; it was fun to sit in the cool dark and watch an upside-down woodland image emerge. I highly recommend visiting this place if you are in the area. The restaurant was excellent too.
