Long Lake Artist-in-Residency Day 6 (Two New Pastel Paintings)
I tried a new technique of painting pastels into saturated, wet paper, and I’m in love with the process. It is so spontaneous and immediate, and perfect for abstract expressionism.
Long Lake Artist-in-Residency Day 5 (Second Painting Finished)
I completed four paintings enough to give a presentation about my work in front of a great audience.
Long Lake Artist-in-Residency Day 4 (First Painting Finished)
Photos of a good day: a long swim with friends, a newly finished painting that I’m satisfied with, and an amazing alpine horn.
Long Lake Artist-in-Residency Day 3
Another lovely day on Long Lake with progress photos of my paintings.
