Long Lake Artist-in-Residency Day 3

Long Lake Artist-in-Residency Day 3

It was another nice day here painting and singing, eating lakeside, and conversing a lot. Below you can see progress photos of four paintings, in various stages; none are yet complete. This evening we heard essayist Todd Nelson read his work, which has been featured on public radio, as well as 104 times on the Home Forum page of the Christian Science Monitor. (This is what he read to us if you want to buy it. It was wonderful, especially the piece about the typewriter!) Then we had a campfire under clear skies full of stars and a bit of the Milky Way.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
