Today I made my yearly sojourn to the Newtown library sale. Other than buying about ten movie DVD’s and about five novels for myself, I mostly bought board books and picture books as gifts for young ones in my life.

I took these photos today on my morning walk in our neighborhood. Since the weekend temperatures crested over 100 degrees, I was impressed with how vibrant things were anyway – plants and flowers, butterflies and bees were all thriving in the humid early morning sun.
