Fostering a new renaissance through creativity, authenticity, spirituality, and art
We have had a wonderful weekend at our son’s graduation from Swarthmore College. He earned a double degree in Engineering and Political Science, and was awarded high honors as well! We are very proud of what he has accomplished and are grateful he has had such a fantastic college experience.
I learned all this and more from the best example I could have had.
Thank you!
We were gifted with this amazing evening light as we left Yosemite Valley, with a marvelous view of Bridalveil Falls and El Capitan, reflected golden in the river.
I was eager to see Mirror Lake in the spring filled with recent snow melt. It was as gorgeous as I had hoped.
I was convinced start using Instagram, and now I’m confessing to really enjoying it.
Cold is busy knitting intricate six-sided snowflakes by the billions…
I found it enjoyable to consider the favorite topic of gratitude from another perspective.
Here is the sterling silver jewelry I made in my silversmithing class at Creative Arts Camp last September.
We have settled back into life as usual, but as often happens after a refreshing time away, I am seeing with new eyes…
Since Banff was still shrouded in rain, we went up to Yoho National Park to see Emerald Lake noted for its exceptional color. I was trying to be patient, flexible, and cheery, but we still had not seen what we had traveled here for.
So as we were driving between Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, we noticed that one of the two horizontal prongs holding up our bikes on our Thule rack had sheered off.
Our bike rack has been getting lower and lower, until on the way from Yosemite to Sacramento it was scrapping on every undulation of the highway, making an excruciating racket
We had a wonderful weekend in Sacramento. We arrived in time for a Friday night dinner reservation, and had a jubilant meal full of many toasts for being together
Our daughter and I both had a great time at her college orientation. Juniata seems to get a lot of things right…
As this month was full of busy closure, I focused on the fact that Spirit itself is complete, and also that all Spirit does is complete.
