I’m pleased to be in this juried show with Connecticut women, and that they used my image (shown first below) as their promotion for their opening reception, which was last Saturday.

I like Peter Joyce’s artwork, even though it has less value contract than I prefer. He makes me want to use more white tones in my paintings, which I definitely don’t usually gravitate to.

We just saw this in the movie theater and I absolutely loved it. A lot of people I know have recommended the book as well as the movie, and I’m glad we saw it out on the big screen.
