Watch Your Self Talk

“It isn’t what happens to us that causes us to suffer; it’s what we say to ourselves about what happens.” Pema Chodron

How is your self talk? Is it positive? Do you ascribe negativity to neutral facts? Do you claim what you would have be true? What you assert for yourself will govern your experience, so choose wisely.

“If you wish to be happy, argue with yourself on the side of happiness; take the side you wish to carry, and be careful not to talk on both sides, or to argue stronger for sorrow than for joy. You are the attorney for the case, and will win or lose according to your plea.” Mary Baker Eddy
