Day 37: Sunrises and Sunsets from the Trip

Day 37: Sunrises and Sunsets from the Trip

sunrises and sunsets of eastern Canada

While we drive the last leg home, I thought you could marvel at this collection of five weeks of sunsets and sunrises. The drama of this display never ceased to amaze me, so I wanted to be able to refer to them together here, spanning the whole trip. We never saw the northern lights, but this parade of intense daily performances was nothing like what we routinely get at home.

These photos have no filters. The colors were this stunning. There are some repeated sunsets here, for the most ostentatious ones evolved during their flamboyant runs. Some are taken on different nights from the same place (usually our campground).

It is marvelous to consider that everyday somewhere, something like this is happening. Each day we saw one, it felt like a benediction and blessing.

Thank you God for all this wonder and beauty. Thank you for this trip.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
