Some of you have found them useful, so I occasionally post them here. If you zoom in on my handwriting, I trust you can see in the photos below what I think about spiritually and what I pray with during my weeks.
Sometimes I quote directly in these notes, but more often, I jot phrases or put things in my own words. Most of the time I remove gendered terms for God.
Lately, I’ve been writing the action items I need to do in the right hand column, with everything else on the left hand side. I am really loving paying attention to this distinction, as well as focusing on implementing those injunctions. It is making a difference in me being able to make these lessons practical and transformative. I highly recommend it!
And I encourage you to do your own Bible study. I find the process of journaling while I study really helpful for making it my own. Plus it makes it more fun.

In the bottom sentence of the text in the post, I link to the one I use, because I get asked this question all the time. It is A4 size which is 8.3 inches by 11.7 inches. It’s a good size to get a whole week’s notes on one page. The next week I start a new page. I’m glad you’ll start a Bible Lesson Journal! It has been hugely helpful.
