This was painted from a memory of a tree fallen over a rushing stream with shapes on the trunk where branches had been removed… I was struck with the abstraction of it at the time.
The piece is 12″x12″ and done on wood panel in mostly acrylic mixed media.

These images … “scream” to me of the birthing of my three babes… all almost ten pounds …
and who have become the JOY (human-joy!)
of my human life! The “price” was well worth it.You asked!

I too see the birthing / womb / egg, however the other smaller womb waiting in line to be birthed evoked in me feelings of a Buddhist viewpoint. Or perhaps an inkling to understanding pre-existence and eternity.
