You may have noticed– this blog has now switched over to its updated design that will support it going forward. Six weeks ago, when our server updated, it no longer supported our (very) old structure, which caused the blog to snag. We needed to transfer 18 years of everyday posts over onto a new framework in order to proceed.
I was super fortunate to find just the right person to help me with this daunting task. Reassuringly, Flynn’s first words to me were, “Not to worry, I do this all the time.” And indeed, this transition has been smoother than I could have imagined, plus it was organized in a way that I was able to keep blogging while the work was being done. I’m so grateful! I’m also very grateful that some of you dear blog readers sent in extra donations during this time, which covered Flynn’s fees. What started out looking scary and onerous, turned out completely smooth and harmonious. Thank you all for your good thoughts and patience during this process.
You’ll notice that things on the blog are mostly the same and only slightly different. A couple small tweaks are still being done, but the new site has been up now for a few days. The font is a little different; and the site feels a little crisper and cleaner. How are you liking it so far?
