Feeling Alive

Feeling alive comes from
bravely stepping out
making progress
surging forward expressively
trying new things
noticing the good all around
having ideas and trying them
being motivated and tenacious
while transparent and exposed
enthusiastically participating
honestly encouraging others
light hearted discovery
experimental exploration
digging, balanced loosely
with floating, unfurling,
observing, and imbibing
nutrients and hydration
sun, song, and satisfied sleep
breathing deeply fresh air
interacting and interfacing
with companionable warmth
rambling, meandering love
and fiercely focused joy.
