As many of you know, painting is one of my ways of connecting with the divine, of meditating, and communing with God. It is also a way I work through things. Such is the case here.

In the above painting, titled Black Lives Matter, I needed to paint to add one more voice of support and solidarity to the Black Lives Matter movement. They not only matter but are crucial, as is shown in this piece. It is 22″x30,” and done in pastel. The original is available for purchase unframed; you can buy it here. If you desire prints, cards, face masks, phone cases, yoga mats, etc of it, you can obtain those here.

The painting below is titled Color Harmony. One way to get harmony in a painting is to include every color in every other color when mixing them. That’s what I’ve done here. It is an interesting metaphor to think about when thinking of racial harmony. The results are muted, peaceful, but still distinct and lovely. This painting is 16″x20″ and done in acrylic. You can buy the original unframed here, or get prints and merchandise of it here.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
