Of all the things that have crossed my desk these last challenging days, this is the one I want to share with you. Originally, this post had a video taken the night before the shootings– by a Sandy Hook Elementary mom of that school’s choir concert singing “We Could Light the Candles All Around the World.” 

Tragically, they have lit candles all around the world.  Let them shine, not in vain.

The video has been removed from Facebook and YouTube, but here are the words:

All of the people all around the world, have their own ways, their own celebrations.
And that’s okay, that’s okay, that’s the way that it should be.
Everyone one, every way, every nation.

But, wouldn’t it be nice if we could have one celebration,
