These are my photos from my first day of my artist-in-residency at Creative Arts Camp on a gorgeous peninsula on Long Lake in Maine.
It has been fun to be hospitable, both at home and at our quarry swimming hole.
This is a very delicate, bland, cold soup, that gets its wonderfulness from its summery mildness.

With my sisters and niece, we had a lovely, hot, full day at the Mystic Aquarium and Seaport.
I’m glad they came and we could enjoy these relationships together and invest in them further.
I gaze at the compositions in the water, at the reflections, the sky, the spider webs, the sun burning through the fog. It is a glorious place and time.
I’m grateful our younger daughter is working from here for a few weeks.
