I love Palm Sunday. I like to imagine Jesus being celebrated and appreciated, being cheered on with “Hosanna!” and palms flapping exuberantly. Having seen the palms in this post recently expanded that image for me because of the enormity of some of these leaves. (They are fun to photograph too, suggesting abstract paintings to me with all their fanning angles and overlapping shadows.) So here I am waving some hugely glorious palms in honor of Jesus…
