“Love demonstrated for all humanity is the most powerful defense against mental assassination and plunder, and that defense needs to be mounted now…
The hate and fear, greed and egotism, that are trying to worm their way into the thought of Americans and paralyze them and the world have no inherent agency. The belief that they do is the real enemy.
The problems and solutions, therefore, are not political, they are mental and, ultimately, spiritual. To defend ourselves and others against mental assassination, we need to defend the eternal, spiritual nature that we all express, a nature characterized by the love that is the eternal, invincible gift from God for everyone. That defense is best mounted through proofs, in our thoughts and actions, that love for God and humanity is indestructible. A nation that protects itself like this and learns to love all humanity fearlessly will be able to defend itself from being manipulated by leaders of its own and other nations and thus govern itself responsibly.
Christ Jesus told his disciples that anyone who really understood him would not only be able to do the healing works he did but also do “greater works than these.”¹ Those greater works include the broader healing works for humanity that we need to do now in order to defend ourselves and protect democracy and self-government. It’s time to step up and do the greater works.
In the end, it isn’t really democracy or even America we need to preserve, it’s our moral and spiritual integrity. We can only do this, and help keep ourselves and others safe from harm, if we are clear about who we are and what we want, where we’re going and how we’re thinking, and what and whom we worship.”

The words by Keith Collins are so true. Thank you for the reminder that we must not return anger and hate with the same kind of words and deeds. Love is always the answer.
