Monhegan Island 2024 (Day 2: Hike and Museum Photos)

Monhegan Island 2024 (Day 2: Hike and Museum Photos)
Monhegan photos Red Rocks, Monhegan by Elena Jahn 1951

We started our day with a three course breakfast included with our room, then we hiked to spend the morning painting on the cliffs overlooking the ocean at Black Head.

In the afternoon, we saw a wonderful show at the museum of artwork of (deceased) women artists who painted on the island. I found that particularly inspiring. You can see my favorite images from that below, along with some of the info cards.

We ended a lovely day with dinner at the Inn; the warm blueberry tart in oatmeal crust was particularly marvelous. I am so grateful to be here!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. Polly,

I have that same Jackie Hudson print hanging in my office. And Nancy Thompson Brown was CS. 🩷
