Ultimate Compendium of Card Games (Book Review)

I checked out  The Ultimate Compendium of Card Games from the new book shelf in our library, and it is terrific! I thought you might want to know about it, either for yourself, or as a gift for a card-loving family member or friend.

I’ve included the table of contents in the photos below so you can see the range of the games they discuss. So many of these either we don’t play or have never heard of.

Over here, we’ve been rather stuck lately playing on cribbage, Phase10, and 5 Crowns on repeat.  However, we are feeling up to learning something new!  James and I play cribbage most nights after dinner, so we are especially interested in a new-to-us wonderful card game for two people.

How about you? If there is a card game you love, please let me know what it is in the comments.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
