Between

We read between the words,
feel between our thoughts,
look between appearances,
listen between conversations,
sort between motives.
God is immersed,
throughout the between,
colluding, coordinating, connecting,
choreographing the combinations
between us,
with alluring brilliance,
marvelous adroitness,
and enchanting exactitude.
We learn between lessons,
grow between activities,
celebrate between victories,
live between moments.
Let all our betweens
expand into pleasing
infinite oneness,
letting nothing else
come between.
