Here are the two plein air paintings I did today in Kouchibouguac National Park. Both were done in our campsite, and both are only 8″x10″, painted in pastel. The sunset painting was done quite quickly.

The old trees are interesting in their unique shapes, but also for the fact that they are still living while already looking weathered like driftwood.

It felt good to paint again, after not doing so in either Newfoundland nor P.E.I.
