The Infinite Presence of God’s Shepherding (Mary Baker Eddy Quote)

the infinite presence of God’s shepherding

“God is universal; confined to no spot, defined by no dogma, appropriated by no sect. Not more to one than to all, is God demonstrable as divine Life, Truth, and Love; and His people are they that reflect Him—that reflect Love. Again, this infinite Principle, with its universal manifestation, is all that really is or can be; hence God is our Shepherd. He guards, guides, feeds, and folds the sheep of His pasture; and their ears are attuned to His call.”

by Mary Baker Eddy in Miscellaneous Writings (page 150 -151)

“Shepherd, show me how to go…” *
out of the dream of life-in-matter!
(It’s gotten… crazier, every day, it seems to me.)

But meanwhile, I am comforted by the presence and evidence of divine Good (some call this God, but the word has been misused!): The good folks I know, music, art, poetry, Truth-writings, nature! Always nature! The purest and closest we hue-mans can get to real ideas!

    Thank You, God!
