Praying about California Fires

I been praying about the fires in California, and am asking you to as well.

Last Wednesday evening we had an inspired church service centered around this topic, which reminded me of an article I read a few years ago. Originally, I thought to include it on my Bits and Clips post for the month, but when I found it and reread it, I felt the urgency of all of us reading this as soon as possible, and acting on it as we are led to in our prayers. Then, snagging these recent images from Google for this post only amplified that insistent, compelling sense to share this article with you as soon as possible.

Even if you are not a Christian Scientist, or not even a believer in the divine, I urge you to read this whole article now: The Flame Shall Not Hurt Thee. Collective thought matters and has results. Let’s all contribute our good thoughts to ending the devastation California is experiencing right now in these fires.
