Last weekend I took Claire Desjardin’s Expressions in Paint workshop at the Helen Day Art Center in Stowe, Vermont. Claire has been on my blog before (here and here), and you can check out her work also on her website and her Instagram. The first one below is one of my favorites by her that she had in an introductory slide show of her work that she showed us at the beginning of the class.

In the photos below you can see the class as it progressed with demos, student work, and a critique at the end. The last five paintings shown in this post are mine that I did in the class.
