Sometime the potter’s wheel is a struggle, and other times it isn’t. This bowl was one of those that emerged effortlessly from the wheel and was a meditative joy to glaze. It is not surprising, then, that I like the outcome!

This was my Christmas present to my husband. I was pleased with the way it came out. The glaze is a stunning honey amber over turquoise.

I’ve abandoned the wheel for a while and I’m having fun hand building. Making this basket was a hoot!
These are my two most recent creations in pottery. I’m pleased with the glazing on both of these and they include techniques that I look forward to exploring further….
