Here are the black and white photos I took recently in Maine, not including some black and white portraits I took and posted here. I’m noticing that the more I focus on taking black and white photographs, the less tolerance I have for wish washing value contrasts in paintings. Try starting a discipline of taking things in black and white, for you will really start to see values everywhere and what a difference they make.
