Panoply of Love poem by Polly Castor

Panoply of Love

Clad in the impervious armor of Love
human hatred can’t ever get to you.
This protective covering
is totally strong, while also
soft, cozy, and comfortable.
Loved, loving, lovable, and lovely–
these are the respective corners
to the glorious blanket of Divine Love
that we are all nestled into,
safe and sound,
with nothing vulnerable protruding,
and no rogue opening
where darts of antagonism
can lodge or foist their way in.
Don’t let any of those
crucial corners lapse open
with doubt, carelessness,
unworthiness or rebellion.
Clutch closely
each aspect of Love,
and identify with each one overtly.
Our protective covering
depends on keeping each
of those four qualities
near and surrounding us,
being consciously and completely
encompassed and ensconced in them.
Express clearly and regularly
your loving nature.
Be your uniquely lovable self
without hesitation or reservation.
Stay out of the way of your
incredible, reflected loveliness.
And yes, most of all, feel cherished
and loved by the divine.
With all of these present
and accounted for as enduring
ingredients in your mantle
you are forever unsusceptible
to anything unlike good.
Remain all tucked up in
this panoply of Soul, secure
in infinite contentment,
provision, and grace,
entirely enveloped
in Love’s great embrace.

I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
