The morning after the wedding, the bride (still in her wedding dress) gave us an explanatory tour of their property, complete with climbing a tree with her dad, brother, and cousins.
Ellie and Brock grow all sorts of things, including Reishi mushrooms, persimmons, and many different kinds of mulberries. They also host interns, and do experiential programs for those interested in learning off the land.
Afterwards, they opened their wedding present from us– one of my oil paintings they said they liked, to grace their new house.

it sounds to have been a truly momentous event and it looks as if they live in a beautiful place surrounded by wonderful plants and creatures. How lovely to be able to share it all with friends and family. I also approve of getting good value out of a wedding dress!
I feel sure they will both “live happily ever after”, bless them. -
Thank you for posting the beautiful pictures of Elli and Brock’s wedding. We were invited but unable to attend. Through your pics and writings I felt like we were almost there. I so appreciate your work and talent. Thank you
