Over the holidays, while on our walks, I got our youngest daughter to take some photos of me, so I could have one for our Christmas card. Above is the one I used. But I treasure the fun time our daughter and I had in doing this, so I thought I’d record the trajectory of those two occasions here, before they are a distant recollection. I felt surrounded by love and want to remember that, and meanwhile, maybe posting these shots here will give you a better sense of who is in your inbox every morning, someone both deeply earnest while simultaneously light-hearted.
