A Sunday Sail (Photos)

Finally, it felt like summer!

We were grateful for an afternoon on Long Island Sound on our church friends’ sailboat. These two are faithfully serving our branch church as first and second readers right now, and although we’ve seen them online for two services a week all year, we have not seen each other in person since March!

And it was a perfect day to be out in the sun, fresh air, and sea breezes. The late afternoon light was stellar, including some amazing golden hour reflections in the water. We saw some lovely architecture, a big family of swans, and 21 white egrets in a tree!

We’ve been sticking so close to home that this excursion especially felt like a treat!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
