Flowers in Our Yard Right Now

Flowers in Our Yard Right Now

flowers in our yard

My husband is a brilliant gardener on our corner 1/3 acre. Here I take you with me on a gander around our yard right now, so you can see the little jewels growing and blooming out there. I am so grateful he has this interest and ability, for we all get to be the beneficiaries!

(Also note that beautiful lettuce, arugula, and spinach we have been enjoying out of the garden.)

I took some photos including the house so you have some context, and then many close ups so you can see all our special little joys. You see mostly different types of irises, our first two roses, and our first two peonies, columbine, lily of the valley, our orange azalea, allium, viburnum, and poppies.

It is important to remember, rejoice in, and emphasize all the beauty in the world!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. Those irises are stunning! Mine are still too new to flower.

Thanks for sharing, Polly! And thanks to James for his dedication in the garden.
I am enjoying our garden at the moment, more than usual in the circumstances, though we don’t have as many beautiful flowers as you. We do have some magnificent, mature trees to look out on, as we back on to a public golf course, which is very uplifting. Nature is amazing! X
