Visiting Our Daughter and Lehigh University Campus (Photos)

It was a delight to visit our daughter on Saturday and finally tour Lehigh University where she is a first year Physics PhD student. It is a stunningly beautiful campus, and I tried to capture the essence of it for you in these photos.

The first two photos below show the Physics building where she spends the majority of her time; in the third and fourth to last photos you can see the classroom she teaches in (Physics 1 Lab), as well as her small, window-filled office on the third floor. Lastly below you can see the gougere (like a puffy, cheesy popover) and smoked salmon and ricotta omelette she made that we ate out in the sun on the balcony of her apartment, just a short walk away.

I am so glad and deeply grateful she has landed so well, in such a nice apartment, on such a gorgeous campus, in a good, solid program supporting her in what she is interested in, surrounded by new people that she enjoys spending time with. I’m also thankful she wants her parents to share in it all!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. It is lovely, but you can’t tell that from driving to her apartment! So glad I got to walk around and see it.
