A Spring Walk During the 245 Anniversary of the Battle of Ridgefield

Battle of Ridgefield 245th anniversary, Ridgefield CT photos Main Street

I took all these photos except the top two, which were taken by my friend Rob Orr on Saturday. I missed the actual battle reenactment then, which took place right in front of our church, but Sunday morning I got a walk around town and things were still going on.

See my photos here of Ridgefield 245 years after the revolution, with some of the same trees and houses, on a glorious day with leaves popping out and flowers festooning every nook and cranny. Such a gorgeous place to live, and I’m reveling in this season of unfoldment.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. Spring is blooming in CT! “festooning” is such an appropriate word in your description of this breathtaking landscape.
