New Sgraffito Pottery Out of the Kiln

Here are six new pieces of sgraffito pottery that are out of the kiln: two round luncheon plates made on the wheel, three square dinner salad plates, and a small square nut bowl. For each one I show a close up after the whole piece. The plate above is a new color combo for me; I have never used gray glaze before.

Over the Christmas break I have carved some more, but it may be a while before the next kiln is ready to fire, so I’ll have to be patient. Some cool new stuff is in process though!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
