Day 16: Baker’s Brook Falls Trail (with Lady’s Slippers)

Baker's Brook Falls Trail

The Baker’s Brook Trail is a lovely 10K hike to a rushing waterfall in Gros Morne National Park, but what I enjoyed the most were the wildflowers along the way. I love lady’s slippers and it is rare to see them. The pink variety is apparently called the “Showy Lady Slipper” which is an accurate description, although not a very creative name. This hike was a good choice for dismal weather; we are hoping the visibility improves for our fjord excursion!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
