I Missed You! (The Blog is Back)

I Missed You! (The Blog is Back)

IMG_1897

I’ve missed you!  It is likely you have gotten no daily blog email blasts for the last week unless you got a repeat of one from the previous week. My apologies.

What happened is that after 9.5 years of blogging everyday, this site grew too large for our (affordable) server. We had to migrate all of it to another bigger, much more expensive server, and because there was so much to transfer it took a bunch of time. Meanwhile, I had no access, since it was betwixt and between.

They charge a lot to host a site as large as this one, and assume I’m making money with it to compensate for the high cost of doing it. I am, however, trying to keep it ad-free, and I’m sure you have intuited that money is not my motive for this ongoing labor of love.

I hope you find value in much that I share here. Because of that, I’d like to ask you to consider donating to this site to help support it and defray its expenses as we go forward. If you are on a computer, you can find a paypal donation button in the sidebar of every post; or if you are on a phone, keep scrolling way down to find it near the bottom. Please make use of it if and when you can.

Also, since we’re supporting this huge site together, please make use of all the resources on it. Type in the search bar (or magnifying glass feature) to find whatever you are looking for. There are tons of ideas shared here that you can utilize, so go exploring and mine them! Plumb its depths!

In the last week here are the posts you missed; I saved June’s Bits and Clips post to combine it with the one for July:

Letting it Go

I’m in this Art Association Show

Mary Baker Eddy in a Letter to James Neal

Fabulous Watermelon Cooler

Happy Fourth of July with Links

Green Harissa Recipe

Thank you so much for your patience during this transition. I’ll be trying to make a few other changes this summer to the back end of this blog. I hope they will go through smoothly, but I’ll thank you now in advance for your patience with any future bumps along the way as well.

This blog is about Life’s rich overflow that we all can enjoy and tap into. It is a celebration of color and taste and ideas and inspiration. Thank you for being an important part of it! It would be pointless without you!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. Blogger (owned by Google) is free. That is why so many like me, use it.

Glad to hear, but unfortunately that platform can’t do all that this one does.
