Book review Water from my heart

I really enjoyed this heartfelt story of redemption and give it five stars. My favorite line in the book sums up its theme well, “Isolation is a prison and indifference is a lie.” The author feels that indifference is the “curse of this age,” and says that “indifference is evil, and could not be further from the heart of God.”

This story takes place in Florida, Boston, London, and Central America, and involves corporate tycoons, high stake poker players, sophisticated drug runners, and struggling coffee growers. The part set in Nicaragua I liked the best. I enjoyed reading about a setting that is rarely depicted in popular novels.

It is also especially fun to read a love story where you actually are convinced that the couple will make it work well in the long term. There is nothing sexy here, but a rogue cleansed by honor and truth is much more compelling. I enjoyed this recently published book, and thought you might too.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
