Our middle school team performed today the challenge above, but I have no (good) photos of it because flash photography was not allowed and it is all a blur. It was the first time I saw my daughter’s life-sized animated book in operation and I thoroughly enjoyed it! (Afterwards I had delicious Parmesan crusted scallops, delighted to sneak in some real food…) In the evening was the Duct Tape Ball which was a blast.
Our Connecticut teams went as characters from the movie How to Train Your Dragon: the middle school team were the dragons (with riders) and the elementary team were the human characters. (My daughter is in the yellow duck-like dragon…) It was quite a production beforehand in the hotel hall and then the walk over! Then I had a ball photographing all the creativity the duct tape costumes for this event displayed, as you can see by the overwhelming variety below… It is amazing what these kids have made out of duct tape!
