I’m in this Purely Pastel Juried Show of the Connecticut Pastel Society, which had its opening reception last night in Lyme, CT. My painting above, Catkin Bursting in Spring, received an Honorable Mention, which was my first cash award ever in an art show. It’s a start!

I wasn’t thrilled with the placement of my painting, which was below another one so you had to look down on it. Otherwise, there was some nice art in the exhibit, as you can see in the photos below in this post. My favorites are the first two below.
