Sun Drenched Evening Along the River

Sun Drenched Evening Along the River

Connecticut River

The best part of my art opening Friday evening was that since we had driven all the way out to Lyme, I had planned a picnic on the banks of the Lieutenant River, on the grounds of the Florence Griswold Museum, which is next door to my show.

The weather was glorious. The evening sun drenched, low humidity, and filled with bird song. My sweetheart and I enjoyed the beauty of the location, the gourmet salads I brought, and each other. We also relished a great sunset as we drove back, stopping on our way home at the amazing Ferris Creamery for ice cream, and running into friends there.

A perfect evening with the father of my children! I am so grateful for our companionability!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
