New Page Spread in my Grid Journal (Sketchbook ideas #24)

page spread in my grid journal

Here is my new page spread in my grid journal.  These were done one at a time using the same materials, which made them feel like they go together. Each one is a little composition study.

I bought this pack of “Artist Tiles” from my favorite brick-and-mortar bookstore, and keep them next to my bed to doodle on. I used these acrylic markers, which work surprisingly nicely.

When I got twelve “tiles” done, it was fun to decide how to organize them on a page and glue them down.

This is a great way to get a little bit of art in when you are too busy otherwise, and it is very low stakes and soothing right before bed.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
