Patience Must Have Her Perfect Work (New Painting in Pastel)

Patience Must Have Her Perfect Work (New Painting in Pastel)

Patience Must Have Her Perfect Work, painting by Polly Castor

Patience can seem receding, and not very bright or exciting, however I’ve been realizing lately that it is not an inactive, idle quality, but a very quietly busy one, getting on with making whatever adjustments are necessary behind the scenes, tidying everything up. This painting seeks to capture that aspect of an attribute that is not brought to bear often enough.

It is 19″x25″ and done in pastel. You can see the entire image above and close up details of it below.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. Each closeup of parts of the whole could be a painting in itself. I love how dynamic yet subtle it is.
